Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst Humanoid robots are slowly entering the job market, and in the next five years some forecast that they will substitute humans in many jobs (although they will probably create new kind of jobs related to the robot industry and AI). At any case, humanoid robots mean a revolution n the job market, which will be a shock for many and a challenge for all of us. The world must change to ensure that the advantages of having an army of humanoid robots to work in our factories, hospitals, etc don’t make humans less valuable, and that we get the skills needed to survive in a robot augmented workforce. Investing in AI research, workforce upskilling, and retraining programs will be critical in mitigating the negative effects and maximizing the benefits of humanoid robots. The magnitude of changes with AI, humanoid robots and other type of robots are going to transform our society. It is going to be exciting for the next five to ten years.
