Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst This podcasts shows us a glimpse on the mind of Reid Hoffmann, who understands business "as usual" even in times of downturn and chaos with some sentences like "Silicon Valley has lived several recessions" and (not exact quote) "those laid off will easily find jobs sooner than later". The important topic however was about Generative AI. This is the AI which is now in vogue and creators are using it, debating even if what is done with it is art, or it's just an amplification of human creation, as a tool of the true human creator. In fact Generative AI is said to create original work and offer infinite options. The big tech like Google, Meta etc are already using their own versions of Generative AI. For Hoffmann Genrative AI is a strand of human amplification, not an AI which will make people unemployed, but a tool which will amplify and improve the way humans work and interact with tech and the world. it will need some time to make it world-wide used, among other things to avoid any disadvantage where a Generative AI can be used precisely for ill minded purposes of any type. But Hoffman believes it will be central to our lives sooner than later. A new world in front of us.
