Francisco Gimeno - BC Analyst We all have our biases and thinking about other countries and societies. Many times fed by what we hear, by what we read in news, which is also fuelled by biases. In respect to the African continent this is even more extreme. What have you heard about Zimbabwe? Probably all the conflicts, the economic problems, and the typical bad news about any African country. Our long experience in listing the African continent we have learnt to leave aside these bias and try to learn the reality by just being there, living there, and recognising what is good and what is bad, going out of our personal bubbles and share life and experiences. In particular Zimbabwe is a beautiful country, more developed than many other countries in the area, which has lived through hard and harsh times, and has a long way to fully recover, but that feels like home for many (Why is that this continent and in particular central/southern and East Africa makes most humans feel at home? Remembering the origins?). Discover Zimbabwe by yourself and you will see. Leave negativity aside. We know the problems. Don't be overwhelmed by them and scared to visit this country.
